The Only 3 Things You Need To Make a Medium Life-changing Platform For You
Don’t worry, I am not going to tell you to post 30 articles in a month
Medium is a perfect place to start your writing career in minutes. As a beginner writer, I needed feedback rather than money and Medium gave me a place to publish my work and receive the feedback.
I started my Medium journey in April 2020.
I learned a lot. I believe that no degree in writing and literature taught me more than Medium. Medium has so many experienced writers and editors. You just need to connect with them to learn. You can also learn from reading other writers’ work on Medium.
Medium gave me place to practice my writing everyday.
Medium is a competitive platform to find success. If you are thinking of Medium as a short-term task then you might not be suitable for this platform. There are many expert writers on Medium who are writing on Medium for many years to be successful.
If you want to change your life, Medium is a place for you. Medium rewards your hard work. If you are good enough to start this journey starts now. Here are the top three things you need to make a successful writing career on Medium.
3 Things every writer needs to be successful
1. Be consistent
Consistency is the key to achieving anything. I started Medium, I wasn’t able to write much because I was in writer’s block. As a beginner, it was hard for me to put words on paper.
I was trying hard to write more and more but just wasn’t able to do so. You won’t believe that I have made $0.03 in the very first month of Medium.
I know, the amount is pennies. But believe me, when you are a beginner this much amount of money is enough to boost your motivation.
The next month, I made $0.94 which is a growth in the amount. I know it’s very little, but this is a sign that you are on the right track.
I was just able to publish 4 articles in my very first month. In the second month, I published 10 articles.
This means once you become consistent with your writing on Medium, you will have a chance to earn more.
Don’t make excuses when it comes to writing. Write at least one post before you go to bed. You will have a good night’s sleep after working so hard.
Consistency can make you pro from a beginner.

Be consistent and write like it’s your job.
2. Be patient
If you are a writer on Medium, patience is an inevitable quality to have. Don’t think you are going to make $1000 on the very first month on Medium. I am not telling you, it’s impossible. However, it’s happening with the people who are experts and know how to get the attention of the audience.
Be practical and patient to be successful on Medium.

Don’t be in a hurry. Trust the process. You are working hard every day. Just write, write and write. You will improve every day.
You have to practice writing, to create masterpiece.

When I joined Medium, curation was a big thing. I was in curation jail for 11 months. When your story is curated by Medium, it distributes according to the topic which increases your chances of getting more views.
Just have some patience.
3. Be yourself
No matter how consistent and patient you are, you have to believe in yourself. You have to believe in your abilities.
Firstly, believe that you can do it. Follow your intuition. Be grateful to yourself for who you are. Be grateful for things you have with yourself.
Accept yourself, and then you can do your best. Don’t believe in others’ opinions about you, believe in what you want to do for yourself.
Believe in yourself and write until you don’t get what you want.

I wish that you will get whatever you have dreamed of.
This is my mantra for getting success on Medium.
Be consistent, be patient and be yourself.
Nothing will impossible if you want to make it possible.
If you like my work and want to support me. You can make my day by buying me a cup of coffee.
