When I read the post of my dear friend Donnette Anglin, it inspired me to share my new self. Do give her wonderful post a read.

So, here I am completely defining my new personality and I am in love with it.

The two years of my writing journey brought many changes to me. A person who didn’t have much interest in reading has already read more than 5 books in the last year from “Think and grow rich” to the “Law of attraction”. Reading books was a wonderful experience for me. My heartiest gratitude to Dr. Preeti Singh for inspiring me to read more. Not just that, I also started to read more articles on Medium and discovered some of the great writers and poets, some of them are Ankit Bhandari Dharan.M, you might be interested in reading their work.

Earlier, I was a soul who was affected by people’s words. Not anymore, you can’t burn me anymore.

A person who just was not ready to let go at any cost. The brand new kind of me doesn’t hold anything, it’s more of a free kind.

It took me a long time to understand that I don’t need to blame myself if someone behaves rudely to me, it might be their fault as well.

I don’t expect others to understand me anymore because I am busy finding my authentic self who deserve love and respect.

My new self isn’t the perfect one, but it’s the brave one who can accept and embrace all the imperfections and flaws. I embrace them because they make me who I am.

I have put all the weight aside that was not allowing me to breathe. Now, my heart is open to accepting all the love so I can finally breathe.

I am no longer a people pleaser who lives a life based on someone else’s opinions. I speak up when I see something wrong happening, I know how to raise my voice and make myself heard…
