I Need Your Help Hence Medium Suspended My Account From MPP
Need Fellow Writer's Help
I have encountered a problem as Medium has revoked my access to the Medium Partnership Program. I am unsure of what exactly happened, and my earnings have not been counted for the past few days. I emailed them for clarification, and this is the response I received from the team.
Hello,
Your access to the Partner Program has been revoked.
We have detected suspicious activity related to your account and have determined that it is in violation of our Rules.
Our Trust and Safety team has identified your account as part of a network that is interacting with itself to falsely inflate earnings. This includes but is not limited to behaviors such as:
- Targeted, repetitive, and inauthentic engagement (claps, responses, highlights, etc.)
- Deceptive or false tax information or payout account information.
All of your stories will be unlocked, and you will no longer be able to earn on new stories.
Your Medium membership remains active, and you can still read Member-only content. If you wish to cancel your membership, you can do so at medium.com/me/settings.
The decision at this time is final.
Thanks,
Trust & Safety
This news is incredibly heartbreaking for me as I am unaware of any specific actions that may have led to this decision. The email I received did not provide detailed clarification, leaving me shocked and confused. They mentioned that the decision is final, which adds to my distress.I would greatly appreciate any advice on what steps I should take next. This account has been crucial for me, especially since it is tied to two of my favorite publications, Lifeline and Reciprocal. Losing access to it would be a significant setback.I am tagging the writers to inform them of the situation and to seek their support as well.
I am unsure of what to do next—whether I should set up a new account or not. This action from Medium has disappointed me, as it feels like the hard work of four years building these two publications has gone to waste. I am asking for your support in these tough times.
