Greetings writer,

I hope you all are enjoying the weekend.

I am here to share my inspiration that will help you to come back to writing after enjoying a great weekend. Writing comes naturally to some people, while it is tough for other people.

Recently, Yana Bostongirl shared a story to inspire the new writers on this platform. She asked Why do you write? Is it for fun, is it for money, a combination of both, or maybe it could be for social proof or building a portfolio?

It got me thinking. So, here’s my answer. Crafting stories gives me a sense of satisfaction. When I write those stories, it makes me feel alive. I discover myself in those stories. Moreover, I write on Medium to make great connections with my fellow authors. It helps me to improve as a writer.

Here, you can read the great piece by Yana Bostongirl

Today, I am sharing the three pieces of advice that helped me as a writer.

As a beginner, It’s always hard to start writing. The beginning of any new thing is always hard.

“Don’t be afraid if things seem difficult in the beginning. That’s only the initial impression. The important thing is not to retreat; you have to master yourself.”

- Olga Korbut

Start putting words on paper as words come into your mind. Don’t think that it makes sense or not. Write a sentence, then write a paragraph and finish the draft. So, here’s my first piece of advice.

Write something, anything that your mind says because you always have a chance to edit it. It’s great to have something than nothing.
